With FlexiCadastre’s growing client base representing an increasing geographic diversity, we are delighted to announce a fresh approach to our very popular annual user community gatherings.
Starting in 2013, and in alternate years thereafter, we are planning to host a number of Regional User Conferences in close proximity to our expanding user communities. A biennial Global FlexiCadastre User Conference will be held each even year, starting 2014.
Details for 2013 are still being finalized, but we are planning four FlexiCadastre Regional User Conferences as follows:
- South America – Week of 22 April 2013 – Lima, Peru
- North America – Week of 29 April 2013 – Vancouver, Canada
- Africa – Week of 20 May 2013 – Johannesburg, South Africa
- Australia - Week of 26 August 2013 – Perth, Australia
Be sure to mark your calendar and watch for updates!
The FlexiCadastre Regional User Conferences (RUCs) will continue the success of past User Conferences by adding a flavour focused on regional concerns and requirements and how these are managed by our clients using FlexiCadastre. The events will target both current and prospective users, featuring programmes with presentations from both users and Spatial Dimension staff and offering unique and balanced insights on land, mineral rights and contract management from both user and vendor perspectives.
With representatives from our development, implementation, support and management teams, the RUCs will also offer an excellent forum to share experiences and explore the latest about how FlexiCadastre solves your business needs while also learning how to make the most of your FlexiCadastre implementation. We are also looking at offering formal training workshops in conjunction with the RUCs – watch for updates or let us know if you have a specific request.
We are also working on a Government-focused, half-day Mining Cadastre Seminar to be held alongside the African Mining Indaba, to be held in Cape Town February 4th - 7th 2013, providing an ideal opportunity to attend both events. More information will be released as seminar details come together. For more information on the Mining Indaba visit http://www.miningindaba.com/.
In support of these events, we are currently soliciting interest for user presentations. This is your opportunity to share your success story with the FlexiCadastre community and help deliver a collaborative event! If you are interested in presenting a paper, please contact Brian Greening (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you belong to the LinkedIn community, be sure to check out the User Conference discussions on the FlexiCadastre User Group (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=4029404).
We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events!
