The Government of Belize, Ministry of Natural Resources has been leveraging the Landfolio software platform since 2006. The Ministry is leveraging this integrated land administration tool across numerous departments, including Land Registry, Surveys and Mapping, State Land Management, Physical Planning, Inland Revenue,and Valuation.
Moreover, all 7 Districts in the country are using Landfolio in an integrated workflow approach to ensure that no matter where you are in Belize the business processes are standardized, auditable and accessible. This project was initially funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and included supporting activities such as data conversion, and public education and awareness.
The Ministry continues to expand its utilization of Landfolio and as such is planning a public portal in the near future.
